デバイス "ETPS/2 Elantech Touchpad" を制御すれば良い
こんな感じで alias 登録しておくと pad-on/pad-off でそれぞれ On/Off の切り替えが出来る
 alias pad-off='xinput set-prop "ETPS/2 Elantech Touchpad" "Device Enabled" 0'
 alias pad-on='xinput set-prop "ETPS/2 Elantech Touchpad" "Device Enabled" 1'
 alias pad-status='xinput list-props "ETPS/2 Elantech Touchpad"'

他にも pad-status (xinput list-props) で様々なパラメータを確認することが出来るので、用途に合わせて xinput set-prop で値を変更すると幸せになれます。
